This past month we traveled to Phoenix, Arizona for a little vacation at Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows. Don’t get me wrong I love the west coast, but I didn’t have high expectations from Arizona as it is mostly a desert, but this resort really makes up for that.
First of all, it is beautiful and has so many amenities so there is a lot to do like yoga class, baking class even hot air balloon so you won’t be bored I promise you. It’s definitely a place for everyone. If you are the chill type, you can definitely relax by the pool and get tan while ordering some food and drinks or if you’re the out and about type, you can hike and explore Scottsdale and its oldtown. All in all, super fun and relaxing place so perfect for a little getaway from LA or a big city like New York City.
A couple of things, you technically don’t need a car if you’re planning to stay in the resort as it has everything you need even a close-by grocery store like Trader Joe’s. However, if you do plan to explore like us you can rent a car, we got a rental from Turo. It was a Ford Mustang convertible. Really cool car, but if you’re visiting during the summer which is technically offseason for Arizona it’s going to be hot like I mean scorching hot so keep that in mind when you make your selection. Since everything is pretty much open cars get super hot inside so convertible sedan is not the best call lol good for pictures thou!
