The Beach Body Grooming Guide For The Summer

In partnership with Manscaped to review The Lawn Mower 4.0 & Ultra Smooth Package

You know this was already coming as summer is around the corner or should I say it is almost here. Let’s be honest yeah maybe we were not exactly paying attention to our bodies during lockdown and winter. Now that things are opening up, we need to get our beach bodies ready. I don’t mean just working out that’s one of the things and you should be working out regardless of the season as it is good for your health. What I mean by beach body ready is essentially the grooming process. Doesn’t matter if you have washboard abs or an average body a little grooming can do wonders. You would be surprised how attractive and fit you are going to look.

Let’s start with sections. This grooming process could take some time if you are a hairy guy and that’s okay. Once you make a habit of this, you won’t have to spend over 20 min in the shower shaving or trimming. This is essentially where you will set the foundation. I generally start with my chest area. One disclaimer I will put here so no one get’s offended. I think depending on the guy hair can look great on the chest and some guys can rock that (not everyone lol.)

However, if you have a lot of hair on your chest that almost covers your definition, you need to trim it. I personally trim my chest and abs area. Only on rare occasions like for shoots and certain content I shave. Trust me, trimmed chest and abs still look sexy and some might even say sexier. If you look at some fitness trainers on IG, almost all of them trim their chests. So get to work. I use Manscaped Lawn Mower 4.0 in here. It’s completely waterproof and has a light built-in. It’s the most convenient body trimmer I’ve ever used.

Now that chest and abs are done, we can move on to a more delicate area. Below the waist grooming is something a lot of guys ignore or rarely pay attention to. It’s a private area, but you would be surprised how much this will add to your self-confidence. Since we are talking beach body grooming, I would say shave everything. Balls too.

If you asked me in the winter, I would say just trim but for the beach, you need to go all in. If you want to wear a speedo and show off those quads with confidence you need to shave. You don’t want some random strain of hair popping near your thighs. I tried Manscaped’s Ultra Smooth Package for this. Exfoliator and the gel really help smooth the skin so you can shave with confidence. It comes with a travel case so you can bring the crop shaver with you wherever you travel this summer.

Lastly, this might be optional for some as not everyone shaves or trims their legs, LEGS! I have always had hairy legs ever since I was a kid. Not super hairy, but too hairy for my personal taste. So I like to trim my legs just like my chest. This is something a lot of fitness gurus do as well so even shave for competitions as they need to show their definitions. Hence this comes to my next point trimming your legs will really reveal the muscles underneath all that hair. Your quads and hamstrings will look more noticeable. This is it. You completed the beach body grooming guide. You’re officially ready for the summer.
